Setting the trading pair is one of the key steps in configuring the BATT Bot. A trading pair defines the two cryptocurrencies that will be traded against each other. For example, BTC/USDT represents Bitcoin trading against USDT (Tether), which is a stablecoin.
Step 1: Open the Configuration Page
- Open the BATT Bot on your computer.
- Click on the “Settings” button in the top-right corner of the software. This will open the configuration page where you can adjust various settings for the bot.
Step 2: Locate the Trading Pair Field
- On the Configuration Page, find the section labeled “Trading Pair”.
- The field will be pre-filled with a default trading pair (e.g., BTC/USDT).
Step 3: Enter Your Desired Trading Pair
-
In the “Trading Pair” field, enter the pair you want to trade. You can select from various pairs like:
- BTC/USDT (Bitcoin/USDT)
- ETH/USDT (Ethereum/USDT)
- BNB/USDT (Binance Coin/USDT)
- ADA/USDT (Cardano/USDT)
- SOL/USDT (Solana/USDT)
-
Note: The BATT Bot only supports Binance Futures trading pairs (like BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, etc.). You should not attempt to use pairs like BTC/USD or pairs from other exchanges.
-
Enter the pair exactly as it appears on Binance Futures, ensuring there are no typos or extra spaces. The correct format is always Base Currency / Quote Currency (e.g., BTC/USDT).
Step 4: Save Your Settings
Once you’ve entered your desired trading pair, click the “Save” button to save your configuration.
Step 5: Verify the Trading Pair
The BATT Bot will automatically verify the entered trading pair with Binance Futures. If the pair is valid, the bot will confirm that it is set and ready to use.
If the pair is incorrect or not supported, the bot will notify you with an error message and ask you to enter a valid pair.
Important Notes:
- Binance Futures Pairs Only: The BATT Bot only supports Binance Futures trading pairs. For example, BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, and BNB/USDT are valid pairs. Make sure you enter the pair in the correct format, as shown on Binance Futures.
- No Spot Trading Pairs: The BATT Bot does not support Spot trading pairs like BTC/ETH or ETH/USD. You must use Futures pairs only.
- Correct Pair Format: Ensure that you enter the pair with the correct format (e.g., BTC/USDT). The pair should be in uppercase letters without spaces.
